Pale colour with salmon tints. Complex and refined, the wine reveals citrus aromas with a dominance of grapefruit, strawberry, banana and mixed floral notes. We advise serving this wine at a temperature of about 8-10°C.
Information and advices:
Pairs well with:
• Red mullet fillets
• Salade niçoise
• Grilled meat
From the estate at the entrance to the village of Collobrières in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, “Château Peyrol” has a magnificent twelve-hectare vineyard planted on terroir consisting of primary schists and sandy loam alluvial soil.
In Provencal dialect “Peyrol” is the name for the large vats where the grapes would be trampled on and it harks back to the days when trampling underfoot took place before the grapes were pressed.
