Tasting suggestion: 1 part filtered coffee, 2 parts cold sparkling water, lots of ice cubes. Those who would enjoy a more indulgent treat may replace the ice cubes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Handy tip: Any tiny fault in the coffee you choose will be detected more easily when drunk cold than when drunk hot – so make sure you select very high-quality coffee to drink cold-brewed.

g Bruno BIO Fairtrade ground coffee

Chilled sparkling water

French press cafetière or container

Combine the ground coffee with the water and leave to infuse overnight in the fridge, ideally for 24 hours to get all the aromas.

Gently stir the infusion and then filter it using either a cafetière or a paper filter. If you have neither, you can also use fragrance-free kitchen paper to filter.

This filtered coffee is very concentrated and can be kept in the fridge for 3 days.
