Bodegas Eguía was founded in Spain in 1973 on the border of the Basque Country. “Eguía” means truth in Basque. This wine is a monoculture of Tempranillo, a red grape variety used in La Rioja that brings finesse and aromatic complexity to the wines. It is aged in American oak barrels for twelve months, which gives it its beautiful vanilla notes.
The cellar is located in the Rioja Alavesa, in the municipality of Elciego, known for its close and historic relations with the world of winemaking.
