The wine of the month - February
2015 Château De Beauregard-Ducourt
2017 Concours de Bordeaux Gold Medal
This wine is a wonderful deep ruby colour with beautiful purple hues. Once it has breathed, aromas of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and a delicate vanilla note are revealed on the nose. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and rounded, with supple tannins and a long, lingering finish.
To fully enjoy this wine we advise that you decant it one hour before serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
Information and tips:
Pairs well with
• Grilled pork chops
• Bordelaise entrecote steak
• Comté, emmental, gruyère
Bought by the Ducourt family in 1973, the Château of this great Entre-Deux-Mers historic property overlooks a 36.5 hectare vineyard, planted across a large, fully south-facing hillside slope. This specific topology combined with the limestone-clay soil promotes both natural water drainage and optimum maturity for the grapes.
