Long live asparagus time!
When the beautiful tip of the asparagus breaks through the soil, the good weather is here. Low in calories, full of vitamins, asparagus is our springtime friend. In fact, its natural diuretic action promotes the elimination of toxins, and its high fibre content helps intestinal transit. Delicious to eat, it’s a real favourite with people who are watching their weight… on condition, ideally, that they eat it without its famous butter sauce, instead favouring a topping based on cottage cheese garnished with a profusion of fresh seasonal herbs!
