Recently, glassine type bags have been introduced in all our stores in the bread & pastries and fruit & vegetable self-service sections. These bags are an ideal option for making your shopping both practical and eco-friendly.

These bags are in fact 100% environmentally-friendly as they’re made from a single recyclable material: glassine paper. Using the standard paper product collection system, these bags can be recycled entirely.

Practically, they offer the perfect solution for fresh produce which is slightly moist or greasy. Unlike standard paper, glassine paper is far more grease- and water-resistant.
